Measurement

I am learning to use measuring equipment to take accurate measurements.

I know I can do it when I can determine the length of different sized objects using measuring instruments (rule, tape measure)

You’re going to go on a length hunt! Search your house and find:

  • something about the same length as your foot
  • something shorter than your thumb
  • something longer than your arm
  • something longer than you

What did you find?

What was the longest thing you have ever seen? How would someone be able to measure it?
